My menu changes a lot. Do I need new codes?
No. The code on the table stays the same forever; you upload the new PDF and that's what people see. You never reprint anything.
Do my customers need an app?
No. They open the camera on their phone, point it at the code, and tap the link that pops up. That's built into every iPhone and Android phone made in the last several years.
What do I print?
Whatever you like. The table sign we give you is a 4 by 6 card you can print at home or at any print shop. Most restaurants put it in a table tent or a small acrylic stand, or stick it to the check presenter.
What does it cost?
The first 30 days are free and we don't ask for a card. After that, $5 a month for one menu code, or $10 a month for up to five if you have several menus or locations.
Where does the menu PDF live?
We host it and serve it from cinchqr.com. PDFs up to 10 MB, which covers just about any menu.
Is this a dynamic QR code menu?
Yes. The code on your table points through a short cinchqr.com link, so you can change the menu behind it anytime. That's what other tools call a dynamic QR code, and they charge $10 to $40 a month for it. Here it's $5.
Can I see how many people scan it?
Yes. Your dashboard shows a scan count for each code, so you can tell which tables or flyers actually get used.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your code stops opening the menu until you come back. Nothing gets deleted, and the printed code itself never changes, so picking the plan back up makes everything work again.
